I've gone through a ridiculous amount of colognes...
I currently wear Ralph Lauren Romance, and my next cologne will be Dolce and Gabbana "The One".
Since I love making lists, I'll just make a list of everything I can remember owning and I'll rank them.
Rankings based on a 5* scale
Ralph Lauren Romance ****1/2
- Great scent, not too strong, drops down a half a star because it wears off too fast for my liking, the scent is perfect though.
Burberry Weekend ***
- A weak citrus-like scent. I liked it at first, but got tired of it quickly. Kind of feminine, I think I bought it for the name when I was like 17, I would never wear it now.
Gucci Rush ****
- A woody, musky mix. I got this cologne after Burberry Weekend, and liked this one much more. The bottle is garbage though, it looked like an old walkman. I think it was a fairly mediocre cologne that's why it gets 4 stars, I just liked it a lot since I ended up not liking Weekend.
Versace Blue Jeans *
- Like Burberry Weekend on steroids. A feminine scent that can't be hidden, I could probably be smelled from a mile away.
Aramis *****
- Honestly tied with "The One" as the best cologne I've ever smelled. Aramis smelled awesome, if I get tired of the way "The One" smells after I get it, I think I'll only wear Aramis from now on.
Stetson by Coty ***
- I actually don't mind Stetson, sure it smells a little like gasoline mixed with baby powder, but those are two scents that are alright in my book. I like to wear it when I play basketball, it refuses to let me smell bad after I play, and it's so strong that nobody wants to guard me tightly. I would never wear on a date or anything like that though, I'd get laughed at.
Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren **
- Another cologne I wear when I play sports, I also use it as a room deodorizer... it gives me headaches. I like the scent, it's just way too overpowering.
Allure Homme Sport by Chanel ****1/2
- A cologne very comparable to Ralph Lauren Romance in every way. A perfect scent that wears off too quickly.
