Prichard hasn’t missed an shot for a game and a half. Maybe get him some more shots.

The one criticism though, is that he needs to play better D.  Stay in front of his man/fight screens a little harder

Too much wandering eye to try to steal the ball   aka Rondo

Loving Pritchard's ability to get inside and create for others. I feel like we should be up by more than 1 right now, but if we can do exactly the same thing in the 2nd half, then we will come out with the W.

Tatum’s halftime shot didn’t bother me.

That last shot proves Tatum learnt absolutely nothing

Yeah, the quote about "need to put more pressure on the defense" was clearly just hot air.  Unfortunately these lazy sidestep threes are what he's content to play for in end-of-quarter situations.
Both a poor reflection on him and his BBIQ and the coaching staff for there clearly being no accountability for nonsense like that

blame his trainer imo.  He is the one who has worked with Tatun with that  dribble/shimmy/outside bombs

Perhaps because Brad doesn't want Tatum to shoot mid range shots??

but he can definitely use dribble forward stop and pop.   When you need a high probability bucket.

Pritchard might be able to give us what Hayward was giving us last season as a 4th option who can play the point and create shots for others.

The thing is that Tatum is a killer on the block. If he can cut down on the step back threes and the Celtics can get him the ball in the 12-15 ft range, he'd be deadly.

Yup. He has GH feel to his game.  Really good facilitator

The best the team has

I also like the way he dribbles to ball. tight handles

If you don’t count Teague, who is 1-5, the bench is shooting lights out. The rest of the bench is 7-9.

Pritchard reminds me of Nash when he doesn’t give up the dribble when going through the paint. Very patient.

Bench
Celtics - 42 minutes 16 pts

Is GWill injured or something? Surprised Brad hasn’t used him yet.

Its probably Brad

Brad and staff tells Tatum.... focus on 3s or drives (and 1 possibility).   Advance stats states that this is the best way

Tatum relays this info to his trainer, who drums up things to meet these needs

BUT Tatum seriously needs that mid range game.  Jimmy Butler proved that, in crucial situations those sure 2 points mean more than advance stats

Puts the opponents on their heels/increases team confidence. VS  hitting the 3 every third shot.   Driving into a wall near the basket  (up the refs to give you the call)
