According to Dan Gilbert, he was more the Cowardly Lion.

I giggled aloud when I saw that. (TP 4 u)

By the way, Wizard of Oz is one of my all-time favorite movies.  ;)
"Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin' back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?""

Jesus Shuttlesworth, "He Got Game"

Wizard of OZ is about right but I think he is a composite of the characters.

He lacked the heart and got his pants beat off, so he is part Tinwoodman.

He lacked brains so is part Scarecrow with his handling of the incident.

He lacked courage and knows that he would never win a title without a grade A talent beside him to win it for him so he is part Cowardly Lion.

There will be no place like home someday and he has a little of Dorothy in him too.   He will need Kevlar armor to go home to Cleveland.

There's a joke in there about the playoffs, and the Wicked Witch of the East, and getting smashed by the house, but it would work a lot better if Eddie House signed in Boston instead of in South Beach.
