18 and 6, including wins against the Raptors and 76rs, and a sweep of the Pacers.

I think they win 16-17, but if they only win 14-15, I am going to be neither angry nor surprised.

If everyone stays healthy and we dont rest players at the end of the season...I think 18-19 wins are very attainable.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

16-17 wins is pretty much going to be on par with expectations. If we exceed that, I’ll be very surprised because that means we won a game we probably weren’t supposed to

So the way I see it, we started out of the break a hideous 1-5, but then bounced back just in time to have a really nice 3-1 West Coast trip. 4-6 overall in our last 10. That West coast trip could have legitimately been the "kiss of death" of this team, but those two wins on back-to-back nights against Golden State and Sacramento could be the turning point for the rest of this season (similar to how us having a great West Coast trip LAST season helped us flip the script when we had been starting to struggle at that point of the year too).

Last night sucked and was frustrating, but it just felt like "one of those" games. Clippers were red hot ALL night and had an answer for everything. But hey, we helped the Clippers/Kings Picks in the process!  8)

Anyways, we got through arguably the most gruesome stretch of games this season, and now there's 14 games to go. I actually don't think it's that bad. Won't be easy, but not hard either.

REMAINING SCHEDULE (Green = Home; Red = Away)

3/14 vs. Kings    7:30 pm.
3/16 vs. Hawks    12:30 p.m.
3/18 vs. Nuggets 7:30 p.m.

3/20 at 76ers      7 p.m. (ESPN)
3/23 at Hornets  6 p.m.

3/24 vs. Spurs    7:30 p.m.    (NBA TV)
3/26 at Cavaliers 7 p.m.
3/29 vs. Pacers    7 p.m. (NBA TV)
3/30 at Nets    6 p.m.
4/1 vs. Heat    7:30 p.m.    (NBA TV)
4/3 at Heat    7:30 p.m.    (NBA TV)
4/5 at Pacers    8 p.m.    (ESPN)
4/7 vs. Magic    7:30 p.m.
4/9 at Wizards    7 p.m.    (TNT)

We have some games against tricky playoff teams but not too many games against elite teams or any tough road trips ahead. We're 1.5 back of PHI/IND. I think IND will drop to the 5 seed. We're prone to having letdowns (unfortunately) but I could see us going 9-5 or even 10-4 to finish the year. Hopefully that's enough for the 4 seed (or 3 seed IF Toronto is the 1 seed).

What do people think?

I believe I expected them to go 8-12 over their last twenty.  That was before they split two home games against the Wizards and Rockets (as I expected) and then went 3-1 on the following road trip (better than I expected).

It's still a tough closing slate with few gimme games.

Even the Cavs are playing kind of frisky right now with Love back.

I'm gonna say they go 7-7 over the remainder of the season.

Standout tough games are the two games against the Pacers, home against the Nuggets, at 76ers, home against the Spurs on the second night of a BTB, at the Nets, at the Heat.

That's seven tough games, and the rest of the games aren't gimmes.  Plus this team has shown they can't be expected to win all the games they should.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
