Voting

CB Draft Voting

I think it'd be good if got a top three votes. First place gets four points. Second place two points. Third place one point. Can't vote for your own team. Something like that.

Quote
1st - Team A
2nd - Team B
3rd - Team C

If that is agreeable to the moderator who counts the votes at CB Draft Voting .

Rockets.

WHile it may take more than 2-3 years, if those guys blossom, that bench mob (Rivers, Faried, Motiejunas, Henson) can beat any team in the NBA once they reach their potential, and that's just the bench. The starters would be very very good in the future as well, also they fit each others games too.

TOTF for the Rockets.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine

I wonder if Boston is getting enough credit / exposure for TotF.

Obviously, they have an older supporting cast that will need to be replaced with some younger role players over the next few years but ...

In Blake Griffin (23 years old) and Russell Westbrook (23 years old), the Celtics will arguably have two of the top ten players in the NBA on their team for the best part of the next 10 years.

Throw in Marc Gasol as a top five center and third option who is only 27 and has another 5+ years ahead of him. That is an immensely talented core.

Then they have Thomas Robinson as well who could be a Paul Millsap like player off the bench behind Blake Griffin and Marc Gasol to form an incredibly effective three player big man rotation.

I'm leaning towards the Warriors strongly here.

Anthony Davis is going to be a superstar within 2 years.

Combine him with Bismack Biyombo and you might be talking the best frontcourt defense in the NBA within that 2 to 3 year timeframe.  He's still 19!

Teletovic is already 26, but if his offense is as good as advertised the Warriors have something there as well.

Then you've got Klay Thompson who I think might be one of the more underrated young'ns in the league. Didn't he average around 18 a game the last month or two of the season? A deadly shooter at 22.

Just as big as all that is the leadership provided by Igoudala and Ginobili.  Great locker room guys, great effort guys.  I just see this being an excellent and smooth youth movement for what is already a really good team.

Indiana Pacers

PG: Rajon Rondo, Kirk Hinrich
SG: Avery Bradley, Bradley Beal
SF: Nic Batum, Mickael Pietrus, Raja Bell
PF: Luis Scola, Carl Landry
C:  Greg Monroe, Enes Kanter, Kwame Brown, Kevin Seraphin

Team Core - Rajon Rondo, Greg Monroe, Nic Batum, Avery Bradley and Bradley Beal

Rondo - 26 year old - not going to waste time explaining this one.  We all already know

Bradley - 21 years old - ditto.

Monroe - 22 years old - Upped his first year stats from 9.4 and 7.5 to 15.4 and 9.6.  Expect numbers to go up again.

Batum - 23 years old - 15 and 5 as a starter without the benefit of having Rondo as a PG.

Kanter - 20 year old - as a rookie, his minutes were limited because of the depth the Jazz have at his position.  In 13 minutes a game, averaged 4.6 and 4.2.  As he learns the NBA game and the team finds him minutes, he has double double potential.  (3rd pick in the 2011 draft)

Beal - 19 year old -  Should develop into a potential number one scoring threat for Rondo.

Seraphin - 22 years old - 14 and 7 as a starter last year.

Greg Oden - 24 years old - The Pacers own his rights.  If he can get healthy next season, he will be a defensive force off the bench for this team.  And with the depth of big men, the team can manage his minutes easily back into the NBA.

I always like to vote for teams that didn't make the playoffs for TOTF.

To me, it comes down to San Antonio, Brooklyn, Golden State, and Houston.

Not sure how I'd rank them yet.

I like Brooklyn the best here, although I would expect Boston and Dallas to be almost perennial finalists in the coming years.
