Brad Stevens on Robert Williams being available at No. 27: "Danny [Ainge] and Mike [Zarren] really started talking about him around 17 or 18, and he’s a really talented guy. ... Each pick, we were hoping more and more that he would be available at 27."

Lol Rozier really FaceTimed Ainge when we were on the clock to get the scoop on who we were picking to make a prediction on the B/R show 😂

Is Bates-Diop still around? What the heck did he do?

As an OSU alum I have watched every game he has played. I cannot believe he has not been picked. Great person off the floor, has his degree...just can't believe this

As a Michigan fan I am programmed to hate all things OSU and I completely agree with this.  I really hope Ainge can buy a pick and take him quickly.

Buy a pick and draft Bates Diop. He is better than Semi and would be a great player off the bench.

I really like his game too, as a wing off the bench. Crazy town

Sixers out to take Bonga as a draft and stash.

Nice for them. But on the whole I'm fine with the moves the 76ers have made, doesn't scare me  ;).

Agree....and karma will be that female dog biting them in the ass for dumping a Mikal Bridges....plus I feared them more with Bridges. Dumb move.
The report before the draft was the Sixers traded #39 to the Lakers so I guess Bonga was who they wanted.

I'm not sold on Smith but Bridges seemed like a low upside pick.  Covington seems like his ceiling and they already have Covington.

Bates-Diop finally picked.  Still hoping that Ainge bought him from cash-strapped Minny.

Speaking with front office people for three different teams, the reaction to the Celtics nabbing Robert Williams at 27 has been “Hell of a pick,” “Absolute steal,” and “Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..”

Me too. But Minnesota got a steal if they keep him. He will be a regular rotation player for them

If Thibs ever plays him. His record with rookies isn't fantastic

Like the Tony Carr pick. He gave Ohio State absolute fits.
