I think Sixers are wrong to start Fultz over Redick.
It was a very strong starting unit, and it add pressure on Fultz.

While if I was coach, I'd too probably be starting Redick, I don't think it's wrong to start Fultz. The season is much bigger than the first game of the regular season. Fultz playing towards his full potential and being able to gel with the starters will do a lot more for Philly down the road (playoffs this season, future seasons) then trying to win what is basically a meaningless regular season game.
There's always going to be pressure in the NBA, this may be the best way to help Fultz learn to deal with it.

5 minutes into the new season and I’m already reminded how terrible the NBA on TNT crew is regarding actual basketball analysis. 50 wins and potentially the 3rd seed for the Lakers? Give me a break lol They’ll be lucky to make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed.I think they will be the 3rd best team in the West also, behind Golden State and Houston. Fifty wins seems reasonable.

Lol this is why NBA officiating is such a joke. How do you go from the preseason's officiating standard (which was atrociously soft) to a standard that lets pretty much all contact go? How are guys supposed to play with that type of inconsistency in the officiating?they were practicing "tight" games

I like what I've seen so far with Hayward in the lineup. It's still early and Hayward and the team need to get their timing going, but it gives us sooo much more versatility and firepower!He looked like he had more energy than in pre-season. Was working hard on D, even hitting the deck for a ball. He needs to shoot that’s for sure.

Much, much better 2nd half. Brad making the decision to put Baynes with the starters really made the difference. Philly just doesn't have much answer on offense for our size and quickness up front. They either can't get enough shooting on the court to properly space the offense, or are forced to play too many defensively weak players

Yeah I don't buy it. Not this season, at least. As talented as the Embiid/Simmons/Fultz trio is, they all have some very glaring flaws as players. None of them are particularly good shooters (to put it kindly) and they create a lot of extra possessions for the other team with their turnovers.
They aren't there yet.
