https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJBk0tNK-jgPoint of this post is that almost every half decent player has fancy highlight videos all over Youtube. I can even find you one of Tony Delk scoring 52, and I think there is one of Devin Booker scoring 70-something, which may fool some people into thinking he is better then MJ (who never scored 70).
Lets be modest in our expectations of Hayward - he's an excellent player, but I'm worried that people are hyping their expectations for him up way too much (as CB people have a tendency to do) and I'm worried that these people are going to get disappointed and turn on him (which CB people also have a tendency to do) when he doesn't explode out to average 26 PPG and become a poor man's Lebron.
Lets chill, pump the brakes, and not pretend Hayward is some kind of Lebron killer. If he comes out and proves me wrong - then all the better!
I've just seen too many excited CB fans expecting way too much of guys, and then making the player pay for it for years after. Perfect example is Avery Bradley, who came to Boston and played his butt off every minute of every day for the orgnaisation and the fans, only to constantly get bagged out for never becoming the All-Star player that nobody with a right mind should ever have expected him to become.
We should appreciate who we have, but the whole idea of waiting for him to come and make Lebron's life hell - umm, we should probably calm down with that a little.
