The Raptors give up the best player and a pick, yet I absolutely love it for them. Much more balanced.
Right now the Raptors are just annoying to play against. With their length they bother you on defense.
But they lack skill and speed on offense, so eventually in most games that is their downfall.

Individually Bogdanovic is providing spacing which is going to help everyone. Murray can be the ball handler and play his natural game instead of having to defer to Young. While Anunoby can play PF which is more his position in modern NBA than SG.

For Atlanta it's hard to forecast what this will do. I imagine not so much. Their formation with one offensively supernova guard surrounded with 3 and D wings and a rim runner hasn't produced the results they hoped for. Siakam is a talent upgrade, but Jalen Johnson I think is on the trajectory to become a very similar player.

“Pascal [Siakam] and Dejounte [Murray] might be a swap there. That definitely could happen….I wouldn’t be surprised if that deal started to resurface again.”
