How come this draft express weakness video is taken as gosper, but the sabonis one that points out how awful at defense he will be at the next level is just utterly ignored?

Are there any quotes from his coach at Maccabi?

Their coach is Zan Tabak. Former NBA player. A guy who has seen first hand what it takes to succeed in the NBA and has worked with Bender throughout the season.

It seems strange to me I haven't read more quotes from Tabak. Am I just missing them? What does Tabak say about Bender? About how good he is? About why he doesn't play more? About how good he can become in the NBA?

Video, Shmideo...it's ALL gonna come down to his workouts here.

Porzingas Killed his pre-draft workouts last year.

There is little to go by.  His current coach probably will tell you, he is ways away

Is his defense really as good as that Draftexpress strengths made it out to be?

Bender doesn't look as athletic in some other videos. Did not look impressive (athletically on defense) in that u-18s video that was posted in the other thread.

Wasn't Bender 16 in that u18 clip? There's a huge difference between 16-year-old athleticism and 18/19-year-old athleticism.

Yup, a sophomore beating the bag out of a college freshman. Also the MVP of the basketball without borders last year. I wil say it again, if he was born in the states he would be the consensus number one pick...

Yep, 16.

Triboy, give it a rest man. These insanely compulsive posts are sucking the fun out of this board. If you can't stop I hope the mods take some sort of action because I'd really like to read something that isn't your opinion at this point.

I've seen him stay in front of guards on drives. While these guards are likely not as athletic as NBA guards, that's still pretty impressive.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

its a scouting video by draftexpress.  Since we have little to go by (since he doesn't get mins to play) ,  these videos are like gold

Going to be hilarious when they draft him in a month. You will probably want him to fail...

Is it impressive to see a 7'1 pf get pushed around by players half his size?
