It's over.  The US won by fifteen.  It was similar to the Russia game.  Lithuania managed to hang around, but never really looked like a legitimate threat to win the game.  Once again, The US' athleticism wore down the opposition, and Kevin Durant is just too much for anyone on this planet too handle.

2:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.   If Turkey wins the game that is on now you will be able to see Semith Erden play against team USA.  Should be fun...Serbia is ahead right now (22 to 19 in the second period).

Turkey and Serbia are having a great game!  Either one should give the USA a good game tomorrow.

Just tuned in at halftime ... very good third quarter.

Quite a few fouls though.

The fourth quarter has been excellent. I'd like to see Serbia pull through.

Erden has just won the game

1) Dunk on Krstic (5th foul)
2) Fantastic block shot on the buzzer (alley hoop attempt)

Wow, we have a clutch player  ;D ;D ;D

Teodosic was very impressive ... pity he won't be playing in the final.

I would have liked to have seen him go up against the USA's point guards.

What a game! A thriller of a match.

Teodosić from serbia side is a star. It'll be interesting to see if he stays in Europe or challenge himself and go to the NBA.

Erden basically saved Turkiye with a clutch block in final 0.5  second. Few second earlier he gave Turkiye the go ahead dunk before Serbia retook the lead.

USA guards Vs. Turkiye Bigs, Gold medal match tomorrow.

Teodosic was a big surprise for me too, he was the best player on the floor for most of the game.  I'd love to see him give the NBA a shot, and I'm sure he opened some teams' eyes tonight.

Two well-played semifinals, and a nice final matchup - USA is gonna have to deal with the most hostile crowd they've seen as a unit.  Should be fun.
