Brazil is giving USA all they can handle, and maybe more.  USA not as good in the half court game which Brazil is forcing them to play.   USA down 3 at half.

Kevin Durant is a beast at power forward. A matchup nightmare. A dominant rebounder. He is playing very good defense in one-on-one situations and using his quickness/length to great effect in help situations.

I hope this is the player he becomes in the NBA down the road after his body fills out a little more.

It feels like the US should be up 10+ points after this quarter.

They've clearly been on top and in control. They've just failed to string together enough consecutive baskets.

The offense was disappointing. Outside of Durant and fastbreaks, they were quite limited.

I hate these two point guard lineups.

I do not like what Billups is doing offensively. Too much dribbling. Slowing the game down too much. Forcing himself to be a playmaker too often and not allowing others to create out there. Everyone is deferring to him too ... head-wrecking.

Lamar Odom has been doing a good job defensively.

Teams are finding it difficult to work those pick and rolls + difficult to use their bigs as high post passers ... with Durant and Odom.

Too quick, too agile, too long, too active.

The defense has been impressive but the offense has been dreadful. Lack of ball movement.
