If you want the Jazz starting pg for the next 8-12 weeks he's available for a 2nd rounder
It's actually only for 4-6 weeks
This is all per yahoo...essentially there are conflicting reports being floated by "sources" and the Burke camp...It's interesting that Trey says he doesn't know where the 8-12 came from, when it was apparently his agent.....
https://twitter.com/DJJazzyJody/status/389781415652376576Rookie point guard Trey Burke had surgery on Tuesday and will have his finger in a splint for the next three weeks.
Advice: He'll be reevaluated after that, as there are conflicting reports as to how long he'll be out with his broken finger. We know that he'll be out at least four weeks, and he doesn't think he'll miss more than six. The other report was 8-12 weeks, and while that does sound a little unreasonable, we won't have a good idea of his return date until the splint comes off three weeks from now. John Lucas is expected to handle point guard duties until Burke is ready to go.

Trey Burke (fractured index finger) wrote on Tuesday that he should be out 4-6 weeks, not 8-12 weeks as reported earlier this week.
Advice: Burke is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, but he took the time to Tweet, "8-12 weeks is very unreasonable people and [I don't know] who made that up. I appreciate the support and prayers but 4-6 weeks is more likely. Thanks." This is obviously great news for Jazz fans, as Utah's backcourt depth is razor-thin and John Lucas III is projected to start at PG until Burke recovers. We should have an official timetable after his surgery.

Trey Burke is expected to miss 8-12 weeks after having surgery on Tuesday to repair his fractured index finger, according to his agent.
Advice: He'll need to have pins inserted and this is a far worse timetable than the initial 3-6 week window suggested by Burke's father on Sunday. John Lucas III becomes the starting PG by default until Burke is ready to return, and Utah will likely scour the free agent pool and trade market for another backup ball-handler. Lucas may surface as a low-end value and his per-36 numbers are worth reciting -- 15.6 points on 39.3 percent FGs, 2.3 threes, 3.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals.
