Apparently they've approached Chris Noth and Sam Waterston about it, though the article doesn't say if or how either responded.

 I hope this actually happens, and of course that it doesn't stink. I tolerate SVU and the CI versions, but always found a lot of aspects about both shows to be ridiculous. Any other L&O Original fanatics on here? I'm gradually piecemealing a collection of the L&O seasons through Amazon.
