Good win on the road.  We're fortunate the Heat are shorthanded but a good win nonetheless.
No excuses.  They got Richardson and Winslow back and we didn’t have Brown.

Richardson got injured in the game.

Heat didn't have him for most of the game.
And Morris out for us too.  If anything, C’s were more shorthanded than the Heat.

Morris was out? Sounds like addition by subtraction. If Rozier gets injured this team might really take off.

Haha! I was thinking similar.

I feel like their D was a little lax in the first and third, and Tatum struggled shooting, but overall a decent game. Always good to win on the road.

Loved 2nd half composure. Really played like a team. This is what I expected from these guys from the get go. Better late than never.
What I loved about both games in the 2nd halves was the team's ability to withstand Miami runs and move the game back to solid leads.

The Pacers game friday is going to be huge. Let's see if we can keep up the composure we showed in the second half tonight.

Question for the "bEtTeR wItHoUt KyRiE" crew...

Does the "young guys win games without Kyrie" logic also apply to the fact we're a perfect 7-0 in games Jaylen Brown doesn't play?

Is we "bEtTeR wiThOuT jAyLeN"?

In games Jaylen hasn't played, Gordon has averaged 17.1 points, 4.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds with 53.7% from the field and 56.8% from three.

I don't blame Jaylen for this... in the same way I don't blame Kyrie for that flukey 11-3 record without him.  If anything, there's some truth that we have too many guys and players tend to play more cohesive basketball when there is less talent to balance.  Tonight, no Morris and Jaylen paved the way for Gordon.  On some nights, we've seen players step up in a big way with Kyrie out.

Blaming Kyrie is just as logical as blaming Jaylen.  Neither makes sense when you look at it in context... but the simple fact remains this team hasn't lost in games Jaylen sits.

I've been sticking to my word and avoiding second halfs. Good to hear it may be changing.

No we absolutely aren't, he's our most effective points per touch scorer and best wing defender on the team, plus he can punish smaller SGs with his post game.
