They have IT inbounding, and he still managed to get an assist from there

There's a huge gap in talent between the east and west as far as all-star talent.

Sorry but IT, Derozan, and Horford aren't really at that level.

Just being honest.

@celtics
Al Horford nails a 3 for the East to close the third, bringing them within nine of the West. The score is 145-136 heading into the fourth.

LOL usually a tweet for someone from OUR team well played Celtics  ;D

Also, Popovich vs Lue is a mismatch unfair

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are the only borderline/3rd tier all-stars on the West. I would say the East has 5 (6 if you include Wade). Lebron is the only MVP caliber player on the east, Paul George maybe makes 2... maybe. The West has 5 (Curry, Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Davis). This is why the West has been so dominant over the east. Eastern conference scouts have to start drafting and developing young players better.

Effort was better before the starters came back in. Biggest names most lackluster efforts.

Westbrook's showboating to the crowd after made baskets instead of getting back on defense is very annoying. Play the game.

What? It's the All-Star Game. The very point of the game is to entertain the crowd. Why in the world shouldn't players cater to the crowd in a meaningless exhibition game that's meant for the fans?

Am I the only one who noticed the sneaky KIA patches on the All-Star jersey. I'm sure this means ads are coming to the NBA jersey which is severely disappointing , I really think this will have a domino affect within the North American Leagues, as NFL, MLB and NHL will surely follow suit if the NBA is allowed to get away with it without much fan backlash.

I'm also very torn at the moment as I want a new Celtics jersey but there is a huge chance most of the current players will not be at the Celtics in the not too distant future, but at the same time the new jerseys will have ads but will be Nike or Jordan branded.....hmmm decisions

The ASG has always been pretty loose with the defense but the players are just making a mockery of it now with their lack of effort. Shameful.

Wade broke Kobe's nose one year .

I remember some games back in the early 80 s where the Stars truely disliked each other .  Then it was more about basketball as a sport and less about the money , well it seemed to me. It was an opportunity for some pay back from regular season and attitude adjustments.

Matter fact , I think I remember SOME announcers saying that guys like to put  some extra beatings on guys like Wade and LeBron to get back at them , cause it would not hurt the team ...soften them up for the end stretch and playoffs....and if you could beat up,a guy ....then that's in your favor in a regular game.    I remember some ruff play back then. Moses Malone era was a man up era.

Sounds like any other all-star game to me.

This years NBA all star game is a show, not any type of contest. Like children being let loose in a candy shop watching them fill their face with too much candy.

I've never watched an entire all star in my life.
