I still don't understand why that is not a double foul. There were two obvious fouls, Derozan almost took Rozier's head off then his team mate came along and shoved Rozier both committed fouls and both should be assessed personal fouls otherwise you are encouraging a free shot on players.

I agree. The second should at least be a tech. Especially after all the injuries the celtics have had this year. No free shots!

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Derozan got all ball.
Was just an unfortunate play, no malice or negative intent though.
Looked way worse live than on the replay. Terry's landing was the scary part.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Rozier is lucky he didn't break a leg---his legs must be made of rubber, it was scary.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

I thought he had snapped something..looked bad. I was pleasantly surprised to see him get up.

That is because he let the fall take its course instead of trying to resist it and setting up his ligaments for danger.

I know. I expected to see the stretcher roll out. Getting used to it sucks.

But then he sprung up, and it was just wow...Gumby was never that fast - who is that?

Was watching with my son who had a very similar injury last week.  We both looked at each other when it happened.  Luckily both TR and my son escaped serious injury.

I don’t think DeRozan fouled Rozier, but the next player definitely did - caught him across the head with his elbow.

I agree.  I replayed it several times and didn't see much.  The 2nd guy maybe bumped him a little, causing Rozier to go off balance.  It was a miracle he didn't break something with the way he landed.

When did Rozier hurt his ankle?
