Aaron Harrison will play summer league with the Boston Celtics, a source told ESPN. Harrison is coming off an outstanding season in Turkey with Galatasaray which has drawn him both Euroleague and renewed NBA interest. Harrison played college basketball at Kentucky.

Always liked the Harrison twins at Kentucky, even though they were clearly below some of their teammates (KAT, Booker, Randle). Better than James Young though :P

Evidently, 25 yr old 6’2 guard Kendrick Ray agreed to play SL in early June? Seeing multiple places saying this.

Kendrick Ray will go to summer league with the Boston Celtics, I am told.
Ray has started the season with Maccabi Tel Aviv before moving to Le Mans

TP. Great. TP to WillyD! =>

It was reported a couple of weeks ago that Kendrick Ray from Maccabi Tel Aviv would play for the Celtics during Summer League so expect to see him on the roster.

The Celtics also signed Max Strus from DePaul to a 2-way contract after the draft so he’ll probably be there too.

Didn't think he would, had a purple temporary lil cast on the day b4 yesterday that I don't think he had been wearing prior. He probably went too hard when he got the go ahead and aggravated it in training. I know he didn't have it on on draft day.

Hmm that isn't good news.  Did he ever have surgery on the hand that bothered him all season?  Does anyone know?

Yes, he did. He had a torn ligament in the thumb that he played with through the entire season. He said he just got the go ahead for light shooting about a week and a half ago. Doc told him he could do it but needed to stop and they would check it, if he experienced soreness. He obviously has a high threshold for pain so I think they should put how much he can or can't do in someone else's hands.

The summer league guards are the worst, and think they can gun themselves on the team in most cases.

Jon Elmore, 6'3 guard

Herd’s Elmore to play with Boston in NBA Summer League

HUNTINGTON - The all-time leader in Marshall and Conference USA basketball history has found an NBA home for the summer.

Marshall’s Jon Elmore made an announcement on social media at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon that he will play in the NBA Summer League with the Boston Celtics.

Elmore finished his Marshall career as the all-time leader in points (2,638) and assists (783) - both numbers which are Conference USA records. Elmore is the only player in NCAA history with 2,500 points and 750 assists.

The Charleston native led Marshall to a Conference USA Championship and the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win during the 2017-18 season before capping his record-breaking career by leading the Thundering Herd to a CollegeInsider.com Invitational Tournament title in 2018-19.

I hope they use Tacko right. It's not hard too but I don't have a lot of faith on this coaching staff with how they coach bigs in the past. Tacko should be the Shaq of this generation until his knees or feet give out that is.

Forward Guerschon Yabusele, meanwhile, is expected to join Boston’s summer league team, but Ojeleye is not, according to a source.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
