Oh Smart...

But that's indicative of this entire team - no discipline whatsoever. Coaching staff just hasn't instilled that kind of accountability or discipline in the team, because they don't respect them.

I mean, the vast majority of the failures of this team just all go back to this failure in management of the players, a little on Ainge but the clear majority being the fault of the coaching staff. We need a change, perhaps not this season but definitely in the summer. Brad just isn't the coach for this level of talent.

been sayin. too much empirical evidence now. held off all year but its obvious now.

ALL STARTS at his feet.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

This Blazers team ... This is what I want for the Celtics.

They're good, they're fun, they know their roles, they have a balanced offense. They get boards and free throws.  They've had a consistent core for a while.

They  have BIGS!!!!

Rebounding killed us tonight. They dominated on the offensive glass.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Smart has had such a mixed game tonight, he’s dragged us back in it but has also shot us out of it

I mean, that was a terrible shot no doubt, but he's literally 5-8 tonight. Not sure how one shoots us out of it with those numbers.

Well, adversity is what brings a team together.  It's time to see what these guys got.

I wasn't a big fan of the short rotation and going small.

I don't understand how Hayward has just 3 shot attempts in 27 minutes.  Give me some of your inflated salary if that's how you're going to play, coming back from injury or not.
Did you watch the game?   Do you want him to run over and take the ball away from his teammates? There was probably one time he should have shot in this game.  Other times he didn't have anything run for him or get the ball.

we have missed 16 of last 17 threes? WOW JUST WOW
we live by the 3 and die by the 3.  tonight we're DOA  :P

thanks to brad.

blah blah blah blah blah

so that is not his style? get outta here with that

so he has shown great adjustments? discipline? management? preparation?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA  keep telling yourself that

Its the entire league.  The entire league. Its not just Brad or the Celtics. You just wanna blame somebody.  The players taking the wrong shots are not his fault.  He ain't playing.  Keep blaming. Ain't gonna do nothing.

I mean, it literally is. If he had instituted any sort of discipline or accountability in these guys, then they wouldn't be consistently taking the wrong shot. But, no, Brad is just too soft and not right for this team. He's consistently failed to show that he can't manage this level of talent yet.

Unless there's a major turnaround the rest of the season, I think Brad is gone this summer.

Well, at least this confirms that the struggles aren't on Rozier.

It's on everybody.

On the plus side I liked their effort and energy in the 1st half and in the 4th quarter but as always they switched off for a quarter and dug themselves a hole. Gordon 3 shot attempts idk if they are not passing to him or he’s passing up shots, it annoys me when I see Smart and Morris jacking up 3s and Gordon doesn’t want to do so because he’s hunting for the best shot. Needs to be a bit more selfish imo

Terrible shooting. And you shouldn’t lose to a team that goes 38-90 from the floor and 6-33 from 3 but somehow we managed to shoot as bad as they did. :-\

But at least they didn’t roll over and die like they did vs Chicago and Toronto.,.progress?
