Well, then things are really looking up for you. As you also make the list in:

Round 3

Best Pick: bdm860 (19) Mehmet Okur. A difficult choice, with a lot of solid picks and an equal number of mild disappointments. In the end I like Okur as the best center among a lot of reaches (Biedrins, Jermaine O'Neal, Dalembert, Ilgauskas, Brad Miller...)

Honorable Mentions: Donoghus (3) Devin Harris and Rondo2287 for taking an unpopular BPA off the board, (8 ) Vince Carter.

Worst Pick: Crownsy (16) Jordan Farmar. The exact opposite result of Lucky's selection of Rajon Rondo in Round 2 (16), though that choice was also widely panned at the time. (But what do we know!)

Yeah, I traded up in the 3rd round when I saw Harris out there.  He perfectly fit the bill as I was attempting to build a team of the future.

Probably my best pick of last year.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I thought Edgar deserved a shout out in round 3 for picking up Jameer Nelson

Jason Terry at the end of the 4th was huge.

I still maintain Brad Miller wasn't given his due respect last year during the cblog draft --

you saw him vs BOS in this years playoffs right?

That's the kind of big Duncan needed beside him. Not enough folks considered "fit" imo last year. </rant> :)

Brad Miller called. He said "Dude, you're harshing my buzz."

Jason Terry at the end of the 4th was huge.

Making my job easy...

Round 4

Best Pick: CFF (30) Jason Terry. Despite coming off the bench, Terry finished in the Top 30 in scoring, steals, FT%, and 3PM. Hard to argue.

Honorable Mentions: Jsaad (23) Shaquille O'Neal and RebusRankin (4) Mo Williams got the rounds only All-Stars.

Worst Pick: Redz (6). Nostalgia choice, Ricky "Get buckets!" Davis edges out DNP-CD (19) Chris Wilcox, Bucknersrevenge. The Angry Pickles team slogan: "It's got to get worse before it gets better."

I know you just got that Assistant GM position lined up, Redz, and I'm not trying to get you fired, I swear.

Edgar has a gem coming up this round.

I think round 5 is Russell Westbrook. Pure speculation pick that paid off. Also, we throw around terms like 'genius' and 'innovator' around a lot now a days, but it sure took some innovative genius to take Nene Hilario at the end of the 5..he averaged almost 15 and 8, played 77 games.....

I'll admit to not "getting" it last year.  I'm just hear to help make some picks if my superior is not around this year.  No decision making really.

I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the subjectiveness of this thing.  I tossed around a few ideas to add a salary and contract element to this draft, but it's too much of a headache, and they really only seem to be important factors to me.  No biggy, I don't mind just checking in and doing a little admin. stuff.

Have a ball y'all.
