"The blown calls of game 2 in the ECF Boston/Miami are unacceptable. The blatant disreguard of rules by NBA officials in crucial moments of playoff games has gone on too long. The biased treatment of "super-stars" and Home teams are too large of an issue to ignore. If an NBA player can foul out of a game then a referee should be held accountable by the league office on missed calls and taken out of rotation of refereeing schedule. With refs losing pay and perhaps an incentive for correct and accurate officiating, this could be a null issue. Pay refs based on merit, just as players are payed based on preformance. One would think with the high standard of internal control, the NBA would have this issue resolved years ago."

Sincerely,
Concerned Fan

That is what I sent to the NBA

I just got a reply back from Stern

" I love Lebron..I love Wade..I want the Heat in the finals for ratings...Please keep watching and buying NBA League package..I promise to be consistent year in and year out- If the Celtics can win 5 out of 7..you might have a 20 percent chance in winning the series..but dont bet the house on that either...yours truly...Stern the rigger"

The NBA where WWF happens...

lol....u forgot this:

"ps, i will let the celts win the next two games to drag the series out and generate more ratings and money, but the heat will win the series"

Short answer: I'd rather e-mail you some Kleenex.

Long answer: We blew a 15 point lead, and didn't rebound to maintain our lead.

Writing a corrupt monolith is a waste of time.

Nonetheless, I did it. Email is sent.

Dang, Coach Bo, of all people, emailed the NBA office to complain about officiating. That confirms what I already know. The league is corrupt from the commissioners office all the way down.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I'd be afraid to send an email because I'm still so amped up that I might accidentally include death threats.

I sent them this:

I think that the officiating in the Eastern Conference Finals has been abysmal! There seems a clear bias for the Heat and it's 2 stars. This problem is making the NBA look bad. Stop worshipping at the feet of almighty king james and his court jester wade.

How can 3 officials NOT see Rondo get smashed in the head? They saw it but they ignored it, which helped Miami win that game. Shame on you NBA officials - shame on you!

i sent this -

"i am a huge NBA fan for the last 21 years. i spend a lot of time following the league and i very emotional about my team.
that said, i find it harder and harder to watch my beloved league become a farce as officiating is clearly biased and some teams enjoy an unprecedented support. you can't expect intelligent fans to keep spending time watching games where they know their team will not be allowed to win no matter what. its a sad day for me as the NBA had lost all credibility. i wish  the players play would dictate the outcome of games, but clearly extraneous considerations are dictating the outcome."

Anyone else get a response? This is what they wrote back.

Thank you for contacting the National Basketball Association with your concerns regarding officiating. The NBA’s highest priority is to ensure that every game is determined on its merits.

We take seriously the performance of our officials. They are subjected to incredible scrutiny by the league, including tracking every call they make and holding them to the most rigorous standard in all of sports. Not only is their past performance measured, charted, and evaluated, but we employ a system of stringent metrics designed to continually hone their skills and improve their overall ability. We strive to ensure that NBA games are officiated at the highest possible level with the understanding that perfection is an unattainable goal.

Thank you again for your concern. We appreciate your feedback regarding this issue.

Sincerely,

NBA Fan Relations
