Consoling myself by saying "at least I don't live in Detroit"?

Talking to long-time Magic fans (I'm sure there are 5 or 6 out there) about how it felt when Shaq signed with the Lakers?

I don't think you're giving the Celts enough credit. The Cavs should have fouled Rondo (or someone...) in the last 30 seconds but the Cavs went up against a better team playing terrific defense.
I don't understand that, why not foul Rondo with two minutes left?

It was probably closer to 90 seconds, but I agree, they blew the chance to foul when Rondo was holding onto the ball.
Rondo had the ball briefly with about two minutes left, I would have fouled him immediately and forced Pierce to handle earlier.

not surprised that the Cavs quit on their coach....they don't want his BS rotations around anymore

hoping Lebron stays but if he leaves for Chicago to play with Rose, Noah and Bosh (they have the cap space) I wouldn't blame him

Shocked at how terrible Jamison was and scared of his contract

Glad that I have more important things in my life than basketball

I'd be sooo bummed right now. It's not like there's ever a good way to exit the playoffs but they've have had some truly disheartening ends to the season for a few years now. I'll go back to hating them next season but for now they have my sympathy.

  • Rondo = Good
I have to agree, the last two minutes of that game were pretty perplexing.  The Cavs really did seem to just give up.

The Celtics just had a whole lot more heart than the Cavs.  I can't believe that was the case after the regular season, but it was.  The '08 fire is back baby!
