Dzanan Musa would be a good cheap pick up. I’d rather have a 6’9” guard coming off the end of the bench than either green or Edwards. I liked him coming out in the draft. His shot has been slow to develop but he’s long and moves well. He’s still only 21 years old.

he’s long
According to draftexpress, he's 6'9'' with a 6'8.5'' wingspan.

Fair. Tho if he can play guard he’s still long, no? Long wingspans are nice but they aren’t everything. Brandon Clarke measured 6’8.25 for both height and wingspan at the combine; wish the Cs had taken him last year as a forward.

That seemed long for a guard. I guess if he was 6’4” with a 6’8” wingspan he be long...

I guess he’s considered a wing.

He's one of the worst offensive players in the league. No thanks

I don't know much about him, but I recently read some Nets fans were complaining that Musa didn't get an opportunity while showing real potential.

I just looked it up, Musa averaged 20/8/3 (52%/41%/75%) over 12 games in the G-League last season.
Might as well give him an opportunity here.

He played 40 games, chucked up 3s like Harden despite being a worse 3 point shooter than Giannis, plays bad defence, is inefficient from the field, and isn't a very good passer. Those Nets fans are wrong

That sounds like Yames Joung! Just a bit taller and with shorter arms.

I’m simply seeing Musa as a better prospect/player than Edwards.

Besides being taller they’re basically identical. There are much better guys than both to be had.

I agree. Let’s go get one!

I agree there’s better players out there but not that Musa = Edwards.

Musa > Edwards

Splitting hairs if we both acknowledge that there are guys better than either of these scrubs.

I'd rather get a guy like Donta Hall (athletic force in the G-League, played good for BKN in the bubble), Jonah Bolden, or Emmanuel Mudiay.

Mudiay, the unconscious sniper against the Celtics. I remember him. Shouldn't some team offer him 60/4 or something?

If Fultz got $50m Mudiay should be thereabouts too!
