As the title asks - What will be the Celtics win-loss record after the first 20 games?

So everyone is on the same predicting page, here's the schedule for the first 20 games:

12/27 @ Pacers

12/30 vs. Grizzlies

That doesn't look too bad. But I expect the Celtics to hover around .500, which I would not find disappointing.

The Celtics, out of necessity, may be giving a lot of minutes to "puppies" for the first month of the season. Now they might find Lassie or Rin-Tin-Tin.

But to be honest, most puppies whiz on the rug for the first part of their lives. So, until the Celtics pups gain some maturity and are house broken, the season could be  both stinky and messy.

I'm looking at the first month or so to function as an extended pre-season.

I'd say 8 to 12 wins.  I wouldn't be surprised if they were 0-4 though.

My guess is the Celtics will come on in the second half (36 games).

The core group is too good not be close to the top by the end of the season.

A record of 10-10 (.500). Could be even a bit better. Tough opening games, but after that I find the schedule not incredibly difficult. I'm just not very optimistic about the team without Kemba.
