The only reason why this seems like more than due diligence on Griffin's part is because Griffin has a history of building a championship team around a Rich Paul client (Lebron) in a small market city. I think that makes Griffin's argument for Davis staying legitimate.

However, I think the die is cast in this situation. Davis is looking for a win-now situation and high visibility. New Orleans is making the right moves to build a contender, but it isn't going to happen overnight, especially in the west.

Zion and AD are not a good fit. They will get in each other's way. They both want to be in the same areas of the court. Much like AD and Cousins got in each other's way.

AD should leave. That is not a compelling situation. That is not a winning situation. If he is about winning, he needs to leave because clearly they are building a dysfunctional plan that will wipe years (more years) off of AD's career.

when have NO done anything ?  Why other than max money would you want to stay at a place that is never gonna compete for even a western confer title.  Too many people have whispered in his ear the reality of the situation.   If he cares about basketball and making a true place in history in the NBA , wants HOf one day , he has to leave for more greener pastures.
