First off, we are in a good yet uncomfortable position. What's good is that we have so many assets. What is uncomfortable is that we are playing the waiting game for the next KG to hit the market and assets do eventually expire. But lets consider an asset we could easily overlook.

Our stash of assets (picks, prospects, TPEs) is in itself an asset. Let me explain If another team needs to make room for a star or make change for a trade we can help. We got Zeller for helping CLE out, we got a pick or something a while back for helping Det get Sheed.

So my idea is that while we wait, it is important that we (or Danny really) judge prospects and picks well. Trade guys before their rookie contracts end for a future pick if you don't believe in them. trade picks now for ones later if you don't see a real gem their at your pick. Once we pay someone a big contract they arn't an asset until they become a star.
