Buddy Hield with 19 pts and 8/12 FGA in 24 minutes. Not bad.

old friend e'twaun moore also had 19. i liked him, i think we traded him as part of a deal for courtney lee? i wish we had kept him.

That Courtney lee deal may be the only bad one ainge made aside from
The first walker trade

E'twaun wasn't really that much of a loss. Lee was a starter during his time here while Moore was stuck at the end of the bench, competing minutes against AB.

We traded him during summer league, and he was actually playing pretty well in that summer league. He went on to have a pretty good stint with the Magic and the Bulls, and now he got pretty good money from the Pelicans. The guy worked hard and it paid off now.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Bucks at Bulls on NBATV right now. It'll be interesting to see this first look at the new-look Bulls, especially since we play them twice in the first part of the season.

Holy hell, the Bulls' starting lineup is Rondo, Wade, Butler, GIBSON, and Lopez. There's absolutely no shooting or spacing whatsoever in that lineup. What the hell is Hoiberg thinking??

EDIT: Is Mirotic out or something?

The Bulls might actually have a decent defensive team if Rondo and Wade decide to play defense, though, but how likely that is over the full course of a season isn't great.

Nah its just a competition between the Bucks and Bulls to see who has the worst spacing in the league. The winner gets Tony Allen as a 3-point specialist.

There is just simply no room for him at that time. We have Rondo, AB, Jet and Lee set on the regular rotation and he couldn't crack regular minutes, especially with Doc reluctant to play young projects.

E'twaun is a decent player, there were just simply better players ahead of him during his stint here. He's just a victim of circumstance. I'm happy for him to find success somewhere else.

Is Thon Maker injured or is it just that the Bucks don't play him at all yet?

If you mean the one where we sent away our best 3pt shooter for spare parts and cap space, I agree.

The Clippers look absolutely terrible on both sides of the ball.  It really wouldn't surprise me to see them underwhelm this season and be at the latter end of the playoff bracket. With Doc as the GM and coach, it's hard to see them blowing it up in the middle of the season, though, even if it would be the smartest thing to do with the current contract situations.

Portland at Golden State on NBATV right now. Golden State's defense looks shoddy and easily broken down with ball movement, and their shot selection is as horrible as it's ever been with quick, contested threes. Portland up 19-6 early.

Yeah, their defense looks terrible. Lillard is getting anywhere he wants.

I know you're a Warriors doubter, jpotter, but wait for the regular season. What they are, we've never seen it before. There will be lulls (like right now), but they're going to obliterate everyone. The only things that could possibly derail them would be 2 catastrophic injuries or a complete Draymond meltdown.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
