Discuss the preseason here!

What does everyone think of Sully in Toronto so far? I've been pretty impressed, though he's clearly better as the C without JV in there.

Durant's transition is going to take some time. He's not looked very good so far tonight. Klay also isn't going to sacrifice any shots by any means it looks like. He definitely looks to be the main scoring and shooting option tonight. Could eventually be some conflict there if it comes at the cost of shots from KD and/or Curry.

First half stats -

Curry: 2-6

Thompson: 5-13 (4-11 threes)

Durant: 2-9 (1-4 threes)

Green: 0-2

Anyone else see a problem with this? I think Klay is almost trying to send a message that he's not going to sacrifice shots this year.

i really am scared that sully will figure it out this year. keep his weight down, average 15 and 10, heck, make an all star team. props to the guy if that happens, but, why not here fam?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

No, this one was on NBATV. I think most of the others will be on LP, though.

Buddy Hield with 19 pts and 8/12 FGA in 24 minutes. Not bad.

He said over the summer it's "disrespectful" for anyone to think he'd have to sacrifice shots.

You usually don't hear this kind of nonsense in this league, it doesn't sound good. Reminds me of some of the wacko receivers in the NFL. Durant to his credit kind of backed him up. But it could be trouble brewing.

Yep. Green will obviously sacrifice the most, but I think there will end up being some sort of trouble with Klay and KD and/or Curry.

I mean, Klay just played a single half and put up 11 threes. That simply won't work with KD replacing Barnes this year.

That's a bummer for Green. He busts his tail for that club. Does the dirty (very dirty) work the stars won't do.

I would say KD needs to take it inside more, he could really create a lot of open looks for his teammates. They are much better spot-up shooters than the guys at OKC. But unfortunately he seems less and less inclined to do so over the years. Maybe the injuries have piled up and he's lost some of that quickness, or maybe he just lost faith in OKC's perimeter shooting.

ooh, my 666th post!
I dedicate it to David Stern.

I think there is a theoretical limit to how good a team can get offensively, and GSW was at that point last year. Adding more fire power to that team, all while sacrificing defense might come around to bite them this season.
If you look at GSW team through a chemistry perspective, last season they were a strain-less cyclohexane ring, and this off season they added yet another methyl to the ring, thus creating strain. (currently studying for Ogro LOL)

agree. the site looks goofy. the old one was fine, idk why they had to change it.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

ridiculous I could not even scroll down, do they know they will lose business. if people feel they have to research just to watch some nba highlights.
