SLAM magazine compared Greg Oden to Colin Farrell. I couldn't think of a worse comparison. Well, maybe I could, but that's pretty bad. If Oden was anything like Farrell then Portland fans would be suicidal.

My office took away instant messaging because some people were abusing it... so now when I want to talk to those people, I just stop working and get up to go talk to them at their desks.

Why I love my daughter - reason #1,479:

Yesterday I pulled in to the driveway and turned to the backseat to see her crying.  It turns out she had heard a line in the Wilco song we were listening to that made her think of our aunt who had passed away last month. 

Some stuff you can teach your kids, other stuff comes from somewhere inside them that is exclusively theirs. That's the stuff that amazes me (especially when it's good stuff).
