just finished watching on tape delay.  thoughts:

- refs sucked for the C's.  OKC benefitted from a very biased whistle tonight.
- C's live-or-die by the 3 killed them in the second quarter
- 7 missed FTs did not help the cause
- great job pulling away late in the 4th but some really bad clock management and plays at the end made this a lot closer than it should have been.
- yet another amazing play by Smart at the end to wrap up the win

great win on the road.

To be fair it was mostly just one ref who kept making bad calls. Even tried to give OKC the ball after it was kicked, good thing other ref overturned it.

I thought Hayward got fouled there. Shroeder was holding him as he spun.

He did but that won’t stop his haters. Ignore Tatum’s 3 turnovers in last few minutes.

It's probably spur of the moment hating, you know how people get excited here

I saw the game finally, great to see the Fabulous Five in action together. It was a solid ensemble effort, Gordon was big in the first quarter, Tatum in the 3rd and Kemba the closer in the 4th, and solid contributions by Brown and Smart doing the game winning plays. Not every team can synthesize a mix of 4 scorers who could all easily be 20+ scorers on other teams but are (for the most part) willing to sacrifice to whoever has the hot hand at the time. Unselfishness is this team's main attribute this year, compared to last year.

In the last 2 minutes of each quarter, total 8 minutes, OKC outscored the Celtics 32-8. In the other 40 minutes, the Celtics outscored OKC 114-79.

Great stat. TP.

The interesting thing - with the above comments - is that HOUSTON is now seemingly COPYING our Big Man formula, lol..

Covington is their tallest starter now at 6'7". They seem happy with it now and committed to it.

Darryl Morey is perhaps thinking: "Danny could very well be onto something......."

At least we're bringing 6'11" Kanter off the bench and he's been HUGE for us...hopefully we'll get RWill back soon too.

Close win! I can’t help but imagine if this Thunder team was in the East, what record they would have. Theyre definitely playing at a high level, which is something I didn’t expect in the offseason.

C’s were fortunate enough to win a close one. Honestly, that game couldve gone very differently. The Thunder missed a bunch of bunnies late in the 4th and missed a bunch at the line throughout the game. C’s were sloppy down the stretch and it likely should’ve cost them. Lucky win that you take any day

Right, plus Tatum was pretty much invisible this whole game. Why that dude is an all star is beyond me ::)

I'm not dissing Tatum; he had a great game. Just the Hayward haters who got on him for missing that bucket at end of game when Schroeder fouled him but wasn't called.  That was why I made that comment.
