whoever chose Kyrie doesn't know much about basketball or is blinded by personal bias

I chose Kyrie.

He is a cold stone killer of a scorer, and below average at everything else. No one, and I mean no one, plays as well with him as without him.

I thought his situation with LeBron was perfect for him. LeBron let him be what he was, and he did all the difficult stuff to make it work.

What makes this team special is that it has Al Horford and 4 really good two way wings. We would be better off with a pass first point guard who can defend and make open shots, even if they weren't as good as Kyrie.

I assume you're basing this on data?  The bigger question is how well the team performs with Kyrie versus without.

Unless, of course, you're not basing this on data.

Yeah, I guess we go with 'blinded by personal bias' on this one.

Kyrie is playing great defense this season, and creating shots for everyone in addition to being an elite scorer. He's been doing everything at a high level, he's the only reason our record is not in the bottom quarter of the league right now.

He also bailed Lebron out in the playoffs many times. Without him Lebron gets no rings in Cleveland.

This seems like one of those statements that is more of a "Feel Fact" than anything you've spent any kind of time researching.

Well, since several posters have taken the time to disagree, I guess you must be right. But it isn't weird. The other starters are not playing very well. We are running less, the offensive flow has slowed down, and the shot quality is down. We aren't as good a team, and the problems are predominantly with the offense.

It certainly isn't all his fault, but he is the point guard. He handles the ball more than anyone else, and these things are happening.

All the Yabu votes are a little perplexing to me. I voted keep everyone but even if I was inclined to think someone has to go, I don't understand how trading someone who only plays garbage time is going to help the team.

Should the consensus now be no one except Bird given the winning streak?  :P

Maybe Rozier's potential offers are being overestimated?

Because you could in theory replace him with someone useful that would play more.

What player are the Celtics going to just add that's so good he's going to warrant minutes over the current rotation?
