Dillon Brooks is a hacker, lol.  He's a decent player, but I don't know how he stays on the court with the way he plays.

This team has too much inconsistency to win the title. Game to Game, Player by Player. Even the Head Coach it seems. Today's example is Hayward.

Tatum and Brown are masters of having great performances followed by 2-12 nights without significant contributions in other areas like assists, rebounding, defense, hustle. Their whole game, mood and motivation seems to depend on how well they are shooting that nite.

Probably a result of youth and experience level. These guys come to the league without that 3-4 years of college experience and coaching.
Unfortunately Hayward doesn't have youth to explain his bad games, though he has less total meltdowns than the J's do.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

I wonder if Hayward isn’t well-suited to the up-tempo game that Memphis plays. He’s more suited to “in control” half-court type game.

On top of everything else, Rob Williams doesn’t look winded.

Awful third quarter defensively. Cs need to tighten it up in the fourth, and hopefully Hayward and/or Brown start to hit some shots.

Those 2.2 seconds were more like 5.2 - how long did it take them to start the clock?

That might be the first time I've ever seen Hayward do something flashy

I don't entirely love our effort right now, but we're coasting at arm's length on shotmaking.  Pretty nice to have four go-to guys on offense sometimes... chances are, one or more of them will have it going at any given time.
