Ugh, sprained wrist for Romeo. He won't return in the game. :(

Bummer, but would he be playing any meaningful minutes in the playoffs, even when Hayward's out?
Doubt it.  He just isn't enough of an offensive threat to play in important games right now.  Same with Grant Williams.  I have high hopes for them, but they have a lot of work to do.
When Hayward leaves, assuming the C's make it that far, Tatum and Brown are gonna be shooting like 30 times a game.

Only one earning playoff min was Javonte. Everyone else was pretty bad. Romeo not ready for prime time.

Cool, we lost. :P

If the Clips beat the Thunder tomorrow, then we end up with the 26th pick in the draft and the Knicks (via the Clips) end up with the 27th pick. If not, there will be a coin flip for #26.

I honestly don’t see it with Waters or Edwards. Cs need to package some of the end of bench fodder/picks and get some vets who are good at their roles.

I have given up on Edwards. I'm willing to give Waters a chance as a 3rd string PG.

Waters has a tight handle and is suprisingly effective on defense with his quick hands. He needs work, but I can see his shot improving and making better decisions with more game experience.

Watched the game on replay.  Yes, this might be an all-time low for posts as counted by number of pages of posts (only 4, the previous low was 7 IIRC).

As I watched this last regular season game, I formed my final opinions on the bench players, or more precisely the players after the top 8 (which for me are the starters plus Smart, Wanamaker and Rob Williams).  The only guy I would definitely keep is Romeo.  I might keep Javonte because he has played too well to ignore.

Here’s my critique of the rest:
Semi is a useful 3-and-D player but he still makes a lot of mistakes for a vet.
Waters is too small and if he doesn’t hit shots consistently, then he’s not good enough for the NBA.
The Great Tacko experiment is over, IMO.  Makes me sad, but I gotta face reality: He’s just not that good.
Poirier is just kind of awful (though he did some nice things tonight).
Edwards is a chucker.
Grant Williams seems to have actually regressed since the beginning of the year.
Kanter shows why he was available but Rob Will might be better in every way.

Now, some of these guys could see some playoff action (Kanter, Semi, G-Will and maybe Romeo) but I doubt it will be enough to change my views going into the off-season.
