We're now entering the weakest stretch of our schedule for the season. Check out this next month:

vs DET
vs CHA
at TOR
vs CLE
vs TOR
at CHA
vs ATL
at CHI
at WAS
vs SA
at PHI
vs NO
vs CHI
vs DET

9 games at home, only 3 against teams over .500. By record our 3rd best opponent is Charlotte lol. 3 back to backs though.

Maxing out our wins against this weak slate will go a long way toward our eventual playoff seed. How many wins do we get from this stretch?

It  is easy, but the back half of that from ATL on the 3rd to MIL on the 16th features 9 games in 14 days including 3 stretches of 3 games in 4 nights. So there might be some fatigue issues.

Still I'd be disappointed with fewer than 10 wins too many cupcakes.

Won't be easy with all these injuries piling up.

Should win at least 10 of those but, like someone mentioned, the injury bug will be the big wild card.

Yeah I'm hoping for 11-3 but it feels like 9-10 may be more likely. Christmas through All-Star is the doldrums of the season, it'll be hard to get up for lousy opponents.

figuring 11-3 for that stretch--less would require losing to an inferior team at some point.  hoping for 14-0.

Not really. We started the season with a 5 game west coast road trip.

Still, it feels like they haven't played many games against the top-6 teams.

Name me who you feel are the top teams in the nba and tell me how many times we have played them. We have/had a cupcake schedule. We should be number 1 in the east due to our trash schedule tbh. Things don’t beat up until after all-star break.

Not to mention we have had a ton of days off.

For what its worth ESPN has them 6th in terms of SOS. And they have played MIL, TOR, PHI x2, MIA, DEN x2, LAC, DAL x2, IND so that 11 games against 8 of the 11 best teams record wise in the NBA.

On this list who are truly championship contenders.

If we did go 11-3 we would be an absurd 29-10. Last year we were 24-15 after 39 games...
