After much (or almost no) negotiation, my friend and I have agreed to enter the results in an NBA2k10 simulation. We are always interested in this sort of thing, and may co-author a preview type post and/or other updates. We have much to discuss based on how we will do it and what we will do, but the important thing is we will do it.

Like most other GMs, I also believe my '07-'08 team to have been underrated. I do admit that I gambled on a number of injury risks, ALL of whom later suffered setbacks. (Hum.)

But I'd also point to my shrewd acquisition of rookie talent in the middle of the draft (Westbrook in the 5th, Fernandez in the 6th, Anthony Randolph in the 7th) and even more proudly note the decision of Washington's front office to follow my managerial example and put the Arenas/Foye backcourt to the true test.

And how long once the draft order is completed will we have to trade  picks before the draft starts?  That was the most fun time of last years draft I think.

Whereas I remember those weeks as a total crapshoot, where a number of teams outsmarted themselves and dealt away their 1st round picks.

I'm in favor of narrowing the window for pre-draft trades.

yeah but there has to be a couple days maybe WED/THUR before the draft starts where teams can move up/down based on where they're picking... and give other time to outsmart themselves
