honestly, the worst thing that couldve happened for this celtics team was facing an 8th seeded team with home court as crazy as it sounds...

we've seen the same story tiem and time again when facing inferior opponents. the celtics feel too overconfident and end up gifting them games and in turn making it harder on themselves.

There was no sense of urgency other than game 3...I thought that would spark them to close this out. However, it seems they just got overconfident with that win and then fumbled this one away.

the good thing is, every time the C's have faced adversity they have risen up to the challenge. Hopefully they have awoken and will take hte next two games

and honestly, as crazy as it sounds. its why "if" we make it to the ECF I would rather face Miami than Indiana..

because I know the celts will take miami seriously, but im not sure if they will indiana

I think the starters just ran out of gas we played so hard through the first half and exerted tons of energy on d but they never gave up, and our bench didn't help us out.

I mean their bench scored what 40 plus points and ours not even 10? That's the game.

I just didnt see any sense of urgency in the 2nd half from this team...we just assumed we were going to win and settled for low percentage shots. we have a problem of letting teams hang around until its too late and then turning it on.

the good thing is, we're going back to boston and the C's certainly will play with more passion knowing they cant continue to give up games. I dont see philly winning 2 out of the next 3.

Better wrap it up in 6. I still remember the loss to Orlando in 2009 and they were home. This team never does things the easy way and it can be very infuriating.

It's 2-2 now. Just restart the series with HCA and win 2 out of 3 :)

This is going 7 games, and if the Sixers can keep the game close going into the 4th, they will win the series. They have better closers then us and their team seems to get 2-3 shots every possession due to offensive rebounding when our team is out of gas.

I hope you're right.

Because I have this feeling that this will go 7 games. Still favoring the Celtics but it looks like Philly won't just go down without a fight. And going 7 games could be critical for us coming in the ECF.

I have the utmost confidence in this team's ability to win when they absolutely have to, but the inconsistent effort needs to stop for good. Because it will undoubtedly lead to their elimination either this round or next. Miami and Indiana have too much talent to bring it every other night.

C's are going to win...they just won't get the rest that they really need.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Anytime they play 4 quarters and not just 2, they will win.
