Come on now, stop crying everyone.

Celtic Stong.

Tatum- Great young player, destined to be top 10 in the NBA
Brown - destined to be an allstar, tremendous competetor, great on both ends
Smart - All nba defensive player, more heart than a lion
Hayward - all around guy, good savy smart vet player, allstar
All of our own picks
Memphis pick
Sacramento's Pick
Clipper's pick

and now

40 million in capspace if we renounce everyone.
That can be Brogdon AND Randle.

The end is not near, the future is not bleak.

Its Bright.

I give you credit for making this thread, because as a glass half full guy myself I find it hard to see the positives here.

You’re right, Tatum and Brown could pan out into all star/superstar talents. Maybe we draft a few more guys that pan out...

But we were suppose to contend now. We had Kyrie Hayward and Horford. Then it crashed and burned... and now instead of contending, we’re back to the youth movement for th foreseeable future.

Add that to the fact that the Lakers can be the worst run organization in the league and still land Lebron and AD, because LA. The NBA is getting difficult to watch...

If we tank hard ( and I am not a tank guy usually) and the Memphis pick is good we could bounce back quickly.

Does anybody know if next year's draft is good?

Yes, my mind is already going to next year's draft.

The only positivity I have right now is two-fold:

(1) Jaylen and Tatum are two good young building blocks.
(2) This team still has a chance to make the playoffs next season if Ainge uses the cap space well and if Hayward is not complete garbage again next season.

Well we have a ton of cap space now. Lol

The good thing for us is there are a decent amount of good bigs that are free agents.

Nikola Vucevic is someone I would seriously consider.  Cousins anyone?  Marc Gasol has a player option.  If Leonard leaves would he opt out? Jonas Valanciounas is solid, the Lopez twins, Noel, Kanter, D Jordan, Cauley Stein is a RA, Bender lol, Chandler, D Howard lol, Randle, Mirotic, Dedmon, Vonleh, and some more.

I know the Magic started playing really well towards the end of the season.  Vucevic put up 21 and 12 at age 28. While we are at also sign hometown kids Vonleh and Noel on the cheap. Lol

Find a suitable PG like Rubio or if your a fan of Russell him, and we are back in business.

No longer have to worry about the repeater tax  ;D

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I’m all for positivity (this thread was a good idea) but let’s use accurate facts. It’s 27 mil cap space. We have draft picks to pay.

I think Tatum was/is the best player on the team.

They are going to build a franchise around him.

And I support that.

I’m all for positivity (this thread was a good idea) but let’s use accurate facts. It’s 27 mil cap space. We have draft picks to pay.

64 mill in guaranteed.
6 mill or so in picks.

109 mill cap.

38-39 mill. I rounded a little for simplicity.

Its enough for brogdon and randle
