just thought I'd see if there's any interest in getting together with me and a few other CB readers on Nov. 21st in a bar near the TD Garden - probably Happy Hour timeframe

still in the idea phase, just trying to get ideas and formulate a plan - open to suggestions

actually, there is a Pats/Chiefs MNF game on later in the eve. but I think happy hour might work better for folks and the bar won't be as crowded

A monday? Meh.  On the other hand, I will have just turned in a writing assignment that day so ill probably need a drink.   Probably rather not go all the way into the city, though.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
I'd go. But I'd do it on a night that the Bruins aren't playing. A bunch of us who get together for games usually meet in the basement of the Harp, which is right across from the TD Garden sign. The Fours is a good spot, too, just because they're both huge so it wouldn't be hard to have the space and actually be able to converse. Hope it all works out.

ok, I think I'm moving forward with this one - any suggestions on a venue?  what's your favorite bar outside the Garden?
