one top pick alone isnt enough to turn this around.

nope, that is correct. If and that is a BIG IF rondo can regain old form and maybe even improve his scoring and IF sully pans out we still need two ALL-stars to go with them plus solid role players who can contribute in certain roles.

True.....this rebuilding is just beginning......the team that will put on Celtic Green one day to compete for the next banner may not contain  any member of this squad ......save Sully and this year still-born lottery pick ..........

We will possibly have several lottery picks

This is brutal right now......

But ... With a little luck and some slick wheeling and dealing by our fearless GM ......we ll see sum thing good starting to take hold early 2016 .

I think we will be lucky to win one game in the next four ........the players know the team is breaking up......the gig is up with a lot of them

Not expecting a lot from the Celtics here on out  ......I just don't see DA bringing on any talent to help the team immediately , unless he thinks he can steal Asik .......somehow

The perfect tank is underway ......for a lottery pick........full speed ahead

Do you REALLY doubt that Rondo will regain his old form??  You do realize that after 1.5 YEARS and 10 games, Derrick Rose was shooting 35.4% from the field??  Please be patient.  Rondo WILL be back.  It takes time to get your shot back after being out a year.  Rondo has had 6 less months to recover than Rose did.  It will take time, BUT I predict that not only will Rondo be back, but he will be EVEN BETTER.  I am SICK of all these negative Nancy's acting like Rondo is finished.  It makes me want to puke!!!

yep. i see us winning 25 games, which is exactly what most others thought to start the year. We will probably get worse before we get better. We may trade guys for more draft picks instead of immediate help.

agreed.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

be prepared for the snowball effect also due to most knowing our long term plans and that more guys are about to be shipped out or do not fit in our long term plans. Then again this could be just what DA wants to guarantee a top 3 pick. Hmmmnnnnnnn

Wallace was the only one...It seems like since Rondo came back Wallace has cared more.

Johnson actually played hard - he of course is playing to stay in the league.  But everyone else...interior D was non-existent and that's all about effort.
