I’d take him.  He be our best passing big man, and he’s effective as a floor-stretcher.

In the ESPN article about Boogie being waived, Tim MacMahon said this

Sources said Cousins was not happy with his role as a backup center behind Christian Wood, wanting more playing time

But isn't Wood injured?

I'd pick him up for the min.

I can get Harden wanting to start. He was averaging 13/10 as a starter (his FG% was pretty poor though). If he came here and wanted to start I say get crazy with it and start him next to TimeLord ;D

DMC would immediately become our 3/4 best player AND at a position of need!  Could we possibly convince him that he would be the difference maker in us becoming a championship contender?  Doubt it.  He'll end up with LeBron, of course.

If the Lakers had wanted him, couldn't they have just signed him to the min for this season?  I would be surprised if he picked Houston over the Lakers.  I can see Houston (they had Harden and Westbrook still) as his second choice.

I suspect the Nets are our biggest competition but I am starting to talk myself into thinking he would be good on the Celtics.

Have you been in a coma for a few years? Boogie is not at all that good anymore. He'd fight with Theis and Thompson to be our 2nd best big

“Not all that good” and our 3rd or 4th best player aren’t mutually exclusive.  Boogie would be the most complete big man on our roster.

I would take him over Thompson. Much more versatile. He can still rebound and pass. Can shoot the three too. His defense may be worrisome, but as a backup center, I think his plus offense offsets his porous defense.

Theis is effective within Brad’s system, but very limited against large and/or mobile bigs. Boogie can at least handle big bigs while also making them work on defense.

I would like Cousins as a flyer, but the entire reason he's leaving Houston is because he thinks he should be a full-time starter? That part would be the dealbreaker for me.
