Also seeking some outside advice on my team in general. As I noted above, I got killed with injuries to Stephen Jackson, Ray Rice, and MJD. Not to mention the very mediocre play of Russel Wilson. Standard scoring league. Right
Now I'm 1-1

Alex Smith
Chris Johnson
Ray Rice
Hakeem Nicks
Dwayne Bowe
Owen Daniels
FX: Cecil Shorts
FX: James Jones
Kicker
Punter

Bench:
Maurice Jones-Drew
Russel Wilson
Greg Jennings
Fred Jackson
Kenny Brit
Ben Tate
Stephen Hill
Jason Snelling
Stephen Jackson (injured)
I'd probably start Wilson over Smith.  Jacksonville is horrible and even though Philly's defense isn't great I can't imagine they won't be up for Reid's return to Philly.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

My only concern is that Jac is so awful that Seattle will get up early and then just run the crap out of the ball an maybe even sit Wilson. Meanwhile, I expect Philli vs KC to be a shoot out of sorts.

I have Freeman as my QB

Is it worth trading for someone's back up (vick, rg3, dalton) for a james jones, roddy white, anquan boldin, vernon davis type? I also have andre johnson (Wont trade) as another receiver as well as andre roberts, brandon hartline and nate washinton and jordan cameron as TE

Or is it worth to just pick up Terrel Pryor or Joe Flacco off waiver wire?

If you could move Boldin for someone's backup I think that would be fine.  Might even move Davis since you have Cameron, but I wouldn't move Jones or White given the rest of your roster.  I'd probably pick up Flacco regardless as he is a pretty solid fantasy QB.

I'd just roll the dice on Flacco off waivers.  You seem to have a pretty solid receiving corps.  Don't mess that up after two weeks just b/c your QB isn't working out when you can get someone like Flacco for just a waiver slot.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking.

I floated James jones for rg3 (he has luck and dalton) got laughed at.

Floated him for Vick (he has Rodgers) and got rejected.

Then saw those 2 in waiver wire. My gut is telling to take flacco but my craziness is telling me to grab Pryor. Guess we'll see haha

I agree with taking Flacco or another QB off the wire. Should be plenty of solid options in most leagues. Dot give up a starter at another position when you can probably grab Flacco, Shaub, or Smith.

14 team league so not a ton of options. Flacco got dropped at some point and Pryor just gotdropped in favor of Smith. Shaub is picked up.

I want to roll with it with what I got so trying to pick up a better qb. I find out if I get pryor tomorrow am (you have $100 total to bid on waiver people throught season). If indont get him then I will put a heavier bid on flacco for sunday hoping he's still avail.

I'm 1-0-1 so far. Like my depth at WR although rb's are slim. Last year I went too top heavy and had a couple injuries and had no bench depth.

Hoping the marathon not sprint method works this year

I snapped up Bobby Rainey as soon as I saw the Richardson trade, but I know jack about Cleveland or Rainey - should I drop him for McGahee?  Any thoughts on who'll get the most action if Willis gets signed?

I would imagine McGahee would eventually be the starter but this week Rainey will be given every opportunity to play this week.

Should I trade Montee Ball and a 4th for MJD and a 7th? Keeper PPR 16 team league, and desperately need another RB.

I'd start Edleman. Even if Gronk returns, Edleman should still see a ton of balls thrown his way.

We should just change this thread to the fantasy football advice thread...

That's a tough call. I have MJD and he hasn't done squat so far. Not to mention he just came up with an injury. That whole Jac team stinks and I'm not sure MJD will be able to overcome it. I would probably do that trade if somebody offered me that FOR MJD so I'm not sure what that says.
