Scoring is 1 point per reception and bonuses for long TD's and at certain yard markers (100, 150, 200, etc.)

Two questions:

TE - Jermichael Finley or Julius Thomas

Flex - Torrey Smith, Kenbrell Thompkins, or Joique Bell

I'm leaning towards Finley (more proven and still had a solid week 1) and Thompkins (with Amendola and Vereen both out and given he had 14 targets in week 1, I think he should have a pretty solid game) but can certainly be persuaded off of either.

I'd go Finley & Thompkins also.  Thompkins is already getting the looks & the offense will be even more depleted tomorrow night.  He'll get plenty of targets.

I think the jury will be out on Thomas for a bit while you pretty much had a good idea what you'll get out of Finley. Safer play.

Do we think Cromartie will be on edelman or thompkins?

Guessing Cromartie will be on Edelman while Milliner will be on Thompkins although I really think the bigger corner, Cromartie, should be the guy on Thompkins.

Ya, Either way im a little scared.  HE got really beat up by Mckelvin last week.  Cromartie might do a number on him.

I actually was pretty encouraged by the way Thompkins played.  He certainly had some struggles but I think there is a lot of potential there.  Also, Brady's accuracy on Sunday was pretty atrocious by Brady standards.  A few of those balls would've been caught if closer to Thompkins.

I'd check this out guys. You can import your team and it will tell you how you relate to the others in your league. It's helped me and it helps you decide who and who not to start. It's not bulletproof, but it did help me last season win a few games.

Still don't believe in Joe.

Still don't believe in Joe.

I made a trade last night.  This is a non ppr but passing TD's get 6 points.

I trade
Russell Wilson
Matt Forte

I get
Andrew Luck
Steven Ridley

I have hated having russell wilson as my QB in this format ever since the draft.  Every good passing TD I targeted in the draft was taken right before me and I wound up with Wilson.  I think Forte to ridley is a clear downgrade, but the upside from Wilson to luck in this format should do good for me.  Especially since Ridley will be my RB2 behind trent richardson.

What a nightmare fantasy week! Got clobbered while Ray Rice, Stephen Jackson, and MJD all went down with injuries. I'm screwed...

So, after a recent trade, my roster looks like this:

QB:  Matt Stafford
RB:  Adrian Peterson
RB:  LeSean McCoy
WR:  Calvin Johnson
WR:  Victor Cruz
TE:  Rob Gronkowski
FL:  DeMarco Murray
K:  Matt Prater
D:  Denver Broncos

BN: Eric Decker
BN: Giovani Bernard
BN: Jermichael Finley
BN: empty pending waivers
BN: empty pending waivers

Obviously, I'm pretty pumped about that roster, especially starting with the eighth pick.  (The trade was Mike Vick + Ryan Matthews + Joique Bell for Peterson).

Yeah, I still can't quite wrap my head around it.  It's a league of 10 local lawyers, too, so you'd think they'd be better at negotiating.

You guys think the Vikings D/ST is a good play this week vs the Browns? Brian Hoyer has been named the starter so you have to imagine they're going to be a mess

Definitely a solid play, the Browns are limited on offense no matter which QB plays.

Josh Gordon coming back will do wonders for him, but he is still out another week.  I actually think Cleveland could win this game, but either way think it will be an ugly low scoring game so playing either defense would probably work out well.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Yeah both D/ST should be starting in a fantasy league.

Also seeking some outside advice on my team in general. As I noted above, I got killed with injuries to Stephen Jackson, Ray Rice, and MJD. Not to mention the very mediocre play of Russel Wilson. Standard scoring league. Right
Now I'm 1-1

Alex Smith
Chris Johnson
Ray Rice
Hakeem Nicks
Dwayne Bowe
Owen Daniels
FX: Cecil Shorts
FX: James Jones
Kicker
Punter

Bench:
Maurice Jones-Drew
Russel Wilson
Greg Jennings
Fred Jackson
Kenny Brit
Ben Tate
Stephen Hill
Jason Snelling
Stephen Jackson (injured)
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.
