Nelson, Turner, or Pressey.

Let Smart start in Bradley's place.

Did you ever watch Rondo his rookie year? Kyle Lowry? John Wall? They all were at best tough to watch. Take a breath.

Rondo showed more in his first preseason game than Smart has so far.  Ugh.

I think Smart is a point guard long term, but he doesn't know how to run the position yet.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Rondo was an NBA point guard from his first summer league game.

Doc played Sebastian Telfair because we were tanking.

And Bradley is just awful.

I've heard people say Smart should be developed to replace Bradley, not Rondo.

Maybe this holds some merit.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Selective memory at its best. Rondo shot 40% from the field in his rookie season, and looked pretty horrible later on.

Smart should replace Bradley now.

Signing Bradley to a big contract was a huge mistake.

I've said from beginning - before we even drafted him - that his future is at the 2 guard spot. He's not explosive enough to be a scoring point guard and his play making is best as a secondary ball handler.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

My memory is excellent.

Rondo was better than Telfair from Day One.

Kudos to you and a TP.

Rondo couldn't shoot for crap, but his play making abilities and off-the-dribble explosiveness were better than what we've seen from Smart thus far.

Rookie PGs are tough to watch.

I still remember watching Billups rookie season, he looked god awful. Turned out [dang] good though. We are going to have to be patient. :'(

Given Smart hasn't shown the ability to be an outside shooter in either college or the pros, he really isn't a SG. He's gotta be a PG otherwise, his future in the NBA is that of defensive oriented combo guard off the bench, which isn't what you want as a #6 pick in a supposed super deep draft.

He needs to come off the bench and develop slowly but he has to do it at PG. He just isn't a SG.
