In other Celtics news, Ainge is looking to clear as much cap room as soon as he can, so if he can find takers for Gerald Wallace, Jeff Green and Avery Bradley, they're gone. ESPN.com - See more at:

This is Chris Broussard's latest "insider" piece.

In other words, it's poop.

Should probably change the thread title.

If we trade Bradley, we better sign CJ long term.

If you're going to cite the ESPN piece, just link it. Don't feed hoopshype anything for another writers work.

Here's the direct link

Don't think Johnson is the long term answer at the 2.

Why does ESPN let Chris Broussard write articles for them? It's been pointed out time and time again he makes up his own "rumors." He's the one who said the Clippers wanted to trade Griffin for Melo and got laughed at by numerous sportswriters, players and coaches.

Sorry if that comes off salty at you heyvik, it's not at all. Just find Broussard's journalistic integrity lacking.

What a shocker.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Don't think Johnson is the long term answer at the 2.

Guy rebounds, plays D, and is a dead on three point shooter which will open up the lane.

He's been better than expected, and I have no problem if the Celtics sign him to a long-term deal that is non-guaranteed for the minimum salary every year, but I really doubt we'll see him on the roster in next year's opening game.  I do love his effort, however.

I'd expect him to be kept around at the end of his next 10-day contract, and signed to something that  includes a deal for next year and the following year at the minimum, non-guaranteed if he's waived by July 15th in each of those summers.  If he isn't kept around, I will speculate that the C's are close to a deal in which they add two more players than they send out, and so need the roster space.
