Beauty.  Takes a bit to get it off but the stroke looks good.

Something is missing....Is it team ball, effort or chemistry???

Chemistry. All the subbing in and out makes it harder for them to develop a rhythm as well probably.

Chemistry and the inconsistent officiating on top of the rule changes = Choppy games.

The short preseason with all the preseason games played in the first week is causing the sloppy/choppy games and lack of chemistry.

Anybody notice Jaylen looks really unhappy? When Tatum hit that bucket in the end he had no emotion also just throughout the past couple games he’s looked off and checked out

This may be slightly exaggerated, but Jaylen was the one talking about players being afraid to step on each other's toes just a couple of weeks ago. Also, even though they get along very well, he is well aware of the praise and attention Tatum receives and he is watching Tatum sneakily become the team's best player. Jaylen is a competitive person - hopefully this just lights a fire and he will work even harder.

There was a play later in the game where Jaylen got the ball on a light break and he took a moving pull-up 3. Mike and Scal made an off-handed comment about how he hadn't shot in a while and it was understandable that he was trying to get his. It was a terrible shot, though.

The team all-around may have some jealousy issues. Brown wants to be a star in this league, Rozier and Morris are in contract years and neither seem particularly satisfied with their roles, Kyrie is just jacking up shot after shot even if it's not in the best interest of the team.

Hopefully as the season plays out, guys get more comfortable and understand that this can work for everybody, but they more need to develop Al's/Hayward's personalities (guys who were already massively paid) for that to happen.

There’s quite a lot of speculation here about what players may be feeling or thinking about their roles. Just perhaps, Brown was frustrated because he has high expectations of himself and he knew he wasn’t doing as well as he liked?  That is speculation too, but at least it’s not automatically assuming he is jealous of Tatum, or dislikes his role.  But have at it folks!  This is a road hazard of posting on an open forum.

We struggled to beat a lottery team and there were at least 3 players killing us that I have never heard of. Is this how it's going to be? Will we be in a battle until the end against Atlanta? Something is wrong.

When your on the road on the second night of a back to back, stuff like this happens. The important thing is that you win the game.

That is just excuses. There is no way that game should have been close based on the talent for each team. Also after losing a tough game last night to Toronto this should have been a blowout. What did Kyrie have like 10 points until the last few possessions? His shooting was off.
so, your answer to the question seems to be that the celtics are somehow fundamentally in trouble and have serious flaws or woes? and to say less is merely an excuse?

honestly 'tazo's explanation seems to be the more realistic explanation to me for now.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I don't think Jaylen looks unhappy but I do think he looks a bit uncertain about where his opportunities in the offense are going to come from. It feels like he is a bit in-and-out of the games offensively. Not always as involved as a player of his talent warrants. Not like he was late last year when Kyrie and Hayward where out.

The starting unit as a whole looks like they would be better off with one of those scorers coming off the bench and replacing that guy with a low-to-medium usage offensive player. Give everyone a bit more breathing room to best express their talents. It would give the bench a big lift too. To have a Ginobili-like figure entering the game a few minutes in.
