So there's another popular YouTuber (who I'm not going to link to, because some believe he's Celtic fandom's version of a disinformation agent and others believe he's a blatant racist who has been running a Kyrie hate campaign for months for his thousands of followers) who had a similar take. posted this same video... and a bunch of other people on twitter who ran with the same idea. The idea being that Kyrie was suspended for some combo of:
- Lashing out at Brad on television when he didn't like the final play called
- Lashing out at Gordon Hayward when he didn't like his pass
- Throwing his young teammates under the bus in the post-game
The day after, Brown is making comments about how change should come from the top down as opposed to the bottom up... and Kyrie is backtracking apologizing for putting his teammates on blast publicly. So there's some logic to this, but it's 100% a conspiracy theory and should be taken as such.
I could just as easily come up with some conspiracy theory that Marcus Smart's "sickness" was fake and the reality is that Boston held him out, because as of today (Jan 15th) his contract can be traded and they are in advanced negotiations to trade him for Bradley Beal or Marc Gasol.
Same level of plausibility... both likely not true.
Edit: Hodgy, this is a re-upload of the video I'm talking about. Are you the same guy or did you just steal his video?
