If you had to guess which one Celtic would get the virus, who would it be?

Why is that?

Marcus Smart, because he has it.  That was easy!

I know. I was just thinking that if I didn't know if any Celtic had it, I would guess Marcus Smart would be the first to get it.

Why do I think that? What is that my inclination?

He plays up close and personal defense and boxout, and all those floor dives put his face near a lot of hard surfaces.

I missed this one. Hope someone could give a summary of what he said. In the meantime, stay safe everyone.

I missed your point about hard surfaces...

NBA executives are prepared for a "heavily reduced pre-draft process" due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

The draft is currently scheduled for June 25th. June 3rd is the deadline for underclassman to withdraw their eligibility, though that could get pushed back.

Scouting trips will be heavily limited by risks associated with the virus, leading to an increase in watching available video.

Conducting medical examinations will be another factor to resolve ahead of the draft.

The league is focused on its revenue generators, according to one executive, making decisions surrounding the draft a lower priority.

"The draft is the last thing on their list. We saw it in the collective bargaining agreement negotiations in 2016. They never even got to [the draft]. Revenue drivers will come first, and then we'll see what happens with the draft after all that gets figured out," said an executive.

Not all Sports is dead !

Yes ....we are gonna have " Wrestling Mania " !    ;D

I understand it will be live pay per view ,  no audience,  held in FL at a training facility.

I guess the UFC is still going, as is horse racing. And I read an article that ESPN is considering telecasting rugby matches that are still happening in Australia here in the US because they're the only professional sports competition still playing.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

The NRL announcement that it intends to go on is getting a lot of rightful backlash. It's a sport filled with scum at every level, starting at the top. Most recent scandal involves players trying to seduce teenage girls they met at a school visit, just a few weeks ago (things like this happen most offseasons).

I really hope nobody tunes in in the US. The NRL is spitting in the face of people trying to be responsible

Shame, I enjoyed watching rugby when I lived in Sydney, though there were 2 types. I liked watching rugby union better (which is what they play in some East Coast colleges). I gathered the other kind was where the more unsavory types played

Yeah, league definitely attracts the more rough individuals. Union is much better in my opinion. Holds true to what rugby should be, in my mind

Canada is not sending its athletes to the 2020 Olympics at Tokyo.

At this point, I'd be shocked if the Olympics weren't cancelled. Or maybe delayed to next year?

More teams will be dropping out I imagine, to the point where it won't be worth it to hold.

Is it that difficult to postpone them for a year? I get that Japan invested a great deal in these games, and would be set to lose a huge amount of $$ if they are cancelled, but what's wrong with a 1 year postponement?
