I just noticed that Jrue said literally yesterday that he wants to sign an extension with the Bucks and retire with them. That's not a great look for Milwaukee
I'm bitter.

Some reports seem to indicate Holiday could be heading to Miami in a separate trade soon

I would hate this.  Holiday would be an amazing fit there and would make them insanely tough.

To bad we couldn't get Jrue for Brogdon

As a fan of the NBA, I love it.

As a fan of the Celtics, ugh.  That's going to be a tough out.  Would have been less concerned if Lillard ended up in Miami.

As a conspiracy theorist, this is better for Miami in the long run.  In 2 years Lillard will have fallen off the cliff (or be too injured to get them a title), causing Giannis to hit free agency and go to Miami.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

The Eastern Conference playoffs are either going to be a bloodbath, or a wet fart.  All depends on whether some aging and/or injury-prone players actually make it to the games that count.

Can't believe this was the best deal out there. I guess PHX absolutely screwing themselves made it so MIL only had to give up Jrue and a 1st, but I think everybody expected more than this.

I still think the Top-3 in some order in the East will be MIL/MIA/BOS. PHI takes a step back unless Harden actually commits to them and tries (lol doubt). NYK/CLE feel like they might take a slight step back IMO. It could all come down to health. Lillard to MIL though definitely makes things very very interesting. Miami are the biggest losers here missing out on him. Keep in mind, MIA lost some key FAs too recently

Wow, I really like that deal for the Bucks, especially if Middleton is healthy. I don't like it for the Suns, though, even if they did need depth more than Ayton. I would have expected at least a pick going to them

I'm gonna change this slightly after realizing how far out those picks are. In 4-6 years Dame, Middleton, and Brook are probably all gone. Even if Giannis stays they aren't gonna be a top team at that point.
I'm bitter.

That's a good deal for Milwaukee in the short term. But they need to go all in on Giannis now.

Curious to see how this impacts their defense though.

Bucks favorites in East now.  Actually like the trade for all 3 teams.

No they are not.

They are per the bookies

Have fun in Milwaukee, Dame! I’ve heard the nightlife there is great. It’s just like Miami.

On a more serious note, this is good for the C’s. Bucks defense just took a big hit and I’d bet against Lillard being healthy come playoff time. I think he will also struggle against the C’s height/length.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Bucks obviously a huge threat now. But have to love the entitled Heat fans getting exactly what they deserve. Huge failure of an offseason from the Heat losing both Strus and Vincent.

RIP the Jaylen/stuff for Giannis future deal, he'll probably re-sign there now.

I'd give my left hand if we could somehow trade Brogdon + pieces for Jrue, haha.  Alas, it's not in the cards.
