So, the deadline has come & gone.  Things might still trickle out but we have a pretty good idea now where most teams are sitting post-deadline.

So, who do you have as winners and losers, team-wise?

Deals finalized or reportedly close to confirmed. (Got a big assist from RealGM's Chicago board on this)

-Butler+Haywood+Stevenson to Mavs, Howard+Gooden+Ross+Singleton to Wizards

-Ilgauskas+Thornton+Preldzic to Wizards, Gooden to Clippers, Jamison+Telfair to Cavs

-Milicic to TWolves, Cardinal to Knicks

-Meeks+Elson to 76ers, Brezec+Ivey to Bucks

-McGrady+Rodriguez to Knicks, Martin+Hill+Jeffries to Rockets, Landry+Dorsey+Hughes to Kings

-Warrick+Alexander to Bulls, Salmons+two 2nd round picks+protected 1st round swap option to Bucks

-Thomas to Bobcats, Law+Murray+pick to Bulls

-Robinson+Landry to Celtics, House+Giddens+Walker to Knicks

-Ronnie Brewer to Memphis, Protected 1st rounder to Utah

-Domanic McGuire to Sacramento, 2nd round pick & cash to Washington

We do have an idea?  Will someone enlighten me because I'm still not sure it's all over?

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Winners:
Cleveland Cavaliers
Houston Rockets
Chicago Bulls (getting more capspace to build around Rose, Noah, and even Deng)
Dallas Mavericks

Losers:
Lakers (couldn't move Vujacic. Didn't get Hinrich.)
Celtics (Nate.)

Too soon to tell:
NY Knicks (I still think management finds a way to screw up all the capspace.)

Mavs, Rockets and Cavs seem to have benefited the most.

Cavs, Mavs and Rockets are winners, Knicks and Bulls are an incomplete.  Everything else, I see as basically rearranging deck chairs.

agreed, Jamison could break his leg tomorrow and Nate could be the scoring punch off the bench that allows Ray and Paul (I think he'll play next to Rondo at times) to get enough rest to bring us Green 18...it could happen

This is easy.  You guys know who I think is the biggst winner out of all of this, especially if Z comes back.

As for the Biggest Loser, that's easy also.  It's the Heat.  They didn't improve their team.  They opened the door to Wade leaving.

I know everyone loves to talk about Lebron going to the Knicks, but at least he has a team around him to possibly win a championship.  What kind of team does DWade have around him?  Why wouldn't he go to NY?

What if the Cavs lose though? Does LeBron decide that Cleveland isn't capable of putting together a winning team around him? Does he decide that Shaq and Z are too old and he's never going to get a good enough big to take him to the promised land?
