I don’t get not calling a timeout with 10 seconds left by Denver.  Murray got a tough look but I guess at least they got a 3 up.

We got us a series folks.
Not really. If Denver’s others show up this series will not be close.
Felt like we went through that. If the Cs just showed up….
Difference being Denver have a better offence and the best player in the world

Denver has had it pretty easy so far in the playoffs. This was the first big test for them. I thought they stayed pretty poised. Miami hit some big shots. In particular Robinson no I still like Denver. But man Miami is starting to believe in themselves. That is what Denver didn’t want to happen.

Was that not a goaltend?
I’d say that missed call had quite the impact

There was a bad call on Gordon too. He did not foul Jimmy Butler. Bad calls happen. We’ll see how Denver responds.

Is there going to be a thread about Malone not calling timeout on that last possession? It almost seems as if these coaches in the NBA trust their guys.

You seemed as confused as Joe when it comes to using vs not using a to. I suggest going back through some old game threads. There's a lot of useful info and you may learn a thing or two....that is of course if you can spare the time defending Joe.
Still don't believe in Joe.

By the way. If you do the Joe Mazzulla test, Miami had 35 three-point attempts to Denver only 28. So I guess Denver lost because they did not take enough three-point shots. That and Miami hitting almost 50% of their three-point shots.

A lot of Miami’s looks stemmed from some very poor defensive miscommunications (looking at you Braun)

  • GOT IT!!!
I think I’m going to root for Butler to get a ring. It probably takes the edge off him going forward.

Denver's first home loss of the playoffs.

Looks like Miami is playing like the NBA's best team, not as an 8th seed. To think they're able to hang like that in Denver...crazy.

Oh shoot another coach in the NBA does what you bash our coach on. You’ll move on to something else though. I know I shouldn’t comment on it, I wouldn’t want to upset all the CelticsStrong posters hoping to apply for NBA assistant coach jobs.

Heat now has home-court advantage. Huge that they can potentially take a 3-1 lead now

It sure is great to live in a world where people never make mistakes in their jobs  :)

I just dont like Porter Jr at all. He has one game where he will look like the next Jayson Tatum then he disappears for a couple games. He just chucks up shots like its end of shot clock and bricks them then lets it carry over to his effort on defense. Looked completely lost out there tonight.

Even though we expected the Zarba crew to come in here and force a 1-1 series, i never expected it to be this ridiculous. It seemed like every call they could get wrong they did. Miami benefited from multiple wrong out of bounds calls and the goaltend at the end of the game was crazy obvious. And i hate the idiot announcers talking about "Denver needs to control their emotions with the refs" as if there was nothing to complain about LOL
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden
